What it is
Voksha is an AI phone receptionist for small and local businesses that answers every call around the clock, captures the caller's details and sends a summary. Appointment booking and integrations start on its Premium plan.
Watch out
- Voksha publishes no free plan and no trial on your own line: the vendor states "There's no free trial" and offers instead a demo number plus a 7-day money-back guarantee, so a buyer must pay $14 and forward real calls before seeing how it handles them.
- API access and webhooks are listed only in the Enterprise column of the plan comparison, marked absent on both self-serve plans; Starter and Premium buyers have no documented public API, and no API documentation is published anywhere on the site.
- Voksha sells in the US, Canada and the UK only, and its own numbers are US-local or toll-free; data centers are North American. An EU or Australian business gets no local number, is billed in USD, and GDPR terms are confined to the Enterprise plan from $990/month.
- A Business Associate Agreement is available only on Enterprise from $990 a month; the vendor tells practices needing a BAA to use Enterprise, so dental and medical buyers on the $14 Starter or $99 Premium plans cannot take patient calls under HIPAA.

- What it bills by
Voksha meters by answered call, not by minute: each plan includes a number of calls and every extra call is a flat dollar, so call length does not change the bill.
Their words
Voksha is priced per plan and per call, not per user.
voksha.comPricing FAQ, 'Is AI receptionist pricing per user or per plan?'
- Past your allowance
Yes
Calls past the allowance keep being answered and are billed at one dollar each, with email alerts at 75% and 90% of the included calls rather than a hard stop.
Their words
Every call beyond your plan's included calls is $1. You'll get email alerts at 75% and 90% of your limit so there are no surprises.
voksha.comPricing FAQ, 'What happens if I exceed my included calls?'

Partlyfrom Premium
Booking into a connected calendar happens during the call, but only from the $99 Premium plan up; the $14 Starter plan answers and takes messages without booking anything.
Their words
Yes, on the Premium and Enterprise plans. Connect Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook or Apple iCloud yourself from your dashboard (also Mindbody, Square Appointments and Booker), and Voksha books during the call. The Starter plan answers every call and takes messages, but does not book appointments.

- Transfers to a person
Partlyfrom Premium
Transfer to a named person is part of Premium custom call flows; the vendor describes an announced transfer to the caller but no briefing of the staff member, and Starter only takes a message.
Their words
Yes, on Premium. With custom call flows and after-hours emergency routing, Voksha can send calls to the right person based on what the caller needs and how urgent it is. On Starter, it takes a message and alerts you.

No
There is no human answering team behind the AI: when a question is beyond it, Voksha says so, takes a message and alerts you, rather than passing the caller to a live agent.
